TAKE OUR BRIEF VEIN QUIZ

WHY TREAT VEIN DISEASE?

Relieve Symptoms

No Vein. No Pain. Varicose veins are a medical condition that results in enlarged and twisted superficial veins that can cause nighttime leg cramps, leg pain, swelling, fatigue, itching, weakness, and skin changes.

Understanding Venous Disease

Chronic venous disease is thought to affect more than 25 million adults in the United States. Risk factors include female sex, pregnancy, obesity, prolonged standing, family history, and a history of deep vein thrombosis.

Stop the Progression of Vein Disease

CVI is a progressive disease that can have a devastating impact. Treatment stops it in its tracks.

WHAT IS

CHRONIC VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY?

Chronic venous insufficiency generally refers to blood pooling in your veins due to weakened or damaged valves. This condition leads to other complications such as skin ulcers that don’t heal and varicose veins. This causes pressure in the leg and can result in pain, swelling, and skin changes/ulcers in the legs.

TREATMENTS WE OFFER

Atlanta Vein Care offers advanced procedures as an alternative to traditional vein stripping in treatment of saphenous vein reflux. Our state-of the-art procedures are in-office, minimally invasive, covered by most insurance and has a short recovery time to get you back on your feet.

ClosureFast™

A catheter is introduced & delivers RFA energy to the vein wall, causing it to heat, collapse and seal allowing healthy veins to take over.

Varithena

A specialized foam is injected into the vein, causing it to collapse and be absorbed by the body while blood reroutes through healthier veins.

Sclerotherapy

A safe solution is injected into spider or small varicose veins, making them close off and fade over time as the body absorbs them.
